Greg Talcott, Founder of Lyon Realty Capital Partners has spent 25 years in financial services serving as Investment Advisor, Portfolio Manager, and a Managing Director in Private Equity Real Estate (PERE).  Over the last 7 years, Mr. Talcott has raised $250M from HNW and UNHW investors, in addition to family offices, RIA’s, and community banks.  Specifically in the world of PERE, Mr. Talcott has raised capital for acquisitions, development, and value add projects across the Southwest and Southeastern USA.  As an expert in the Opportunity Zone space, Mr. Talcott was one of the first people in the country to raise capital for Qualified OZ deals via funds and syndications.  Working for multiple sponsors in addition to reviewing hundreds of offerings from competitors, he has seen the good, bad, and ugly within the sector.  

 

A graduate of Arizona State University, Mr. Talcott has held Series 7, 9, 10, 63, and 66 licenses throughout the last 25 years.  Mr. Talcott is passionate about the Bryan-College Station community and has been a member of the Brazos Valley Economic Development Council.  Previously he volunteered with Junior Achievement of Arizona, coached youth sports, and served as a mentor to a number of young, financial professionals.  He has two adult children, two grandchildren, and four dogs.  He enjoys live music, travel, martial arts, and at the age of 50 decided to take up golf.
